Solnør Gård is an old and venerable farm. The property is very well suited for accommodating larger groups wishing to hunt deer and roe deer. As you can see in the picture below, the cultivated land is used as a golf course in the summer. The area is hilly with a lot of forest and steep mountainsides on all sides, making it perfect for deer wildlife.

Injured animal by shooting is fined 3000 nok
The hunt
Primarily, we hunt using post hunting on the terrain, which is particularly well-suited for this. These are fixed hunting stands that include hunting towers, etc. It will be possible to do some combination hunts like drive hunting or stalking by further arrangement with a guide. The area is well-suited for seven hunters.
In 2024, there are quotas/tags for 8 animals + 40 possible additional animals. The majority are younger animals and calves, but there is a possibility of getting a large buck. Roe deer quota is free.
There are no shooting fees
Accommodation
Near the farm, we have a cabin where guests can stay. It is a perfect location for hunting. The cozy cabin by the seaside can accommodate seven guests. The garden is also perfect for relaxing, as you have the entire area to yourself. Why not enjoy your snacks on one of the terraces and refresh yourself in the fjord water? Here, sport fishermen can also spend hours on their hobby and fully enjoy the surroundings.
Combine your hunting trip with some deep sea fishing
We have excellent opportunities to take guests out for sea fishing in the area. Here, you can have exclusive experiences such as bluefin tuna fishing or regular sea fishing for cod, halibut, saithe, haddock, etc
